We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Name, address and other contact details (email address and telephone number).
  • Names of children that you choose to specify as your associated child members.
  • Payment information for membership fees and donations.

How We Get The Personal Information And Why We Have It

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reasons:

  • Providing you with information about Moidart Coastal Rowing Club activities.
  • To inform you that your calendar year membership fee is due for payment and to keep track of current membership and membership income.
  • Additionally your contact details may be used in the event of an emergency occurring during an event or activity.

We do not share this information with any other organisations except (1) the information necessary for our payment solution provider Stripe to take payments and record transactions, and (2) limited information (e.g. email address and first name) passing through MailPoet servers operated by WooCommerce to facilitate our email newsletters.

We keep your name, address and other contact details for the period you are a member of the club. We will then dispose of your information by removing your personal details from the database with the exception of information which is lawfully required to be retained.
